I will agree, it's kind of a cr__shoot. I like to research campgrounds
but what you see isn't always what you read. I've read about parks that were rated low because they are dusty. I personally don't enjoy all blacktop and rock but a lot of folks do.
In the past few months we have stayed a 2 parks where the office help was said to be terrible and insulting, and they were as nice as can be to us.
I do like the reviews and opinions, but opinions are like that other body part, we all have one. lol

Bob, congrats on your new rig. Were you able to get a good deal from a local dealer or did you have to travel a bit.
Get those miles on it and enjoy your trip to Kennedy Meadows.

Javasuef, so it's like a time share and you get to go back every 88 days for more food. Just kidding.
I have never heard anything negative about this steakhouse, no matter which location the response has always been positive.
Glad you enjoyed yourself, you only turn 55 once.

Also allow more room on your turns. The 5'er doesn't track behind the truck like the TT did. I have kissed a few curbs on right turns.

R&D, I see there is a Everest Owners forum. You might try over there for added info. I belong to the Montana Owners forum and it's really great for brand specific info.
Either way, enjoy that new rig !!!!!

Almost Lost Our Spare Tire
On our return trip from a week + in the ShowLow AZ. area we stopped at a Mickey D's in Williams, AZ. I was sitting in the truck with the hounds and DW was getting some vittles. There was a gas station/tire shop across the street and a fellow walked over towards the truck and said, you are about to lose the spare tire off your FW, pull it over to the shop and we can look at it.
Sure enough it had backed off about 2 inches. I always check wheel torque, tire pressure tighten screws for cabinets and drawers but I never thought about the spare.
I slipped the gentlemen a 10 spot which he said was NOT necessary, but considering the consequences, was a cheap fix.
Guess it was finally my lucky day.
